Our Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our website to find out more about Mary & me and this incredible company. I hate to think of us as ordinary but we’re like most people in that we want a better life for ourselves and our family. Along the way, we want to do some good things for others and our planet. How about you?
A few years ago were going through some big financial problems. We had a big pile of credit card debt and no way to put a dent in it. We tried cutting back on living expenses but the debt just kept on growing. Bill collectors were calling constantly. We avoided answering the phone most days. It was a depressing situation.
After meeting with a financial planner we were told that we needed to figure out a way to make more money. Scrimping and cutting corners wasn’t getting us ahead. Mary’s income as an elementary school teacher and mine as a professional fitness trainer just wasn’t enough. We loved what we did but our “white collar” incomes weren’t sufficient for the life we wanted to live. When we were introduced to Shaklee in 2004, we knew we had found a way to turn our lives around.
Both of us had been into fitness for years so being able to make money with the #1 natural nutrition company in the U.S. was a big plus. It was Shaklee's reputation for helping put money in pockets and for helping improve people’s health that made us want to join as distributors. What made us extra certain was when we got the chance to meet Roger Barnett, Shaklee’s owner. We knew without a doubt that we wanted to be a part of his vision of improving people’s lives by offering them the financial opportunity of a lifetime with Shaklee.
Even though we really enjoy our lives, we have a bunch of dreams that we’re working towards fulfilling. For example, we want to travel more (especially to West Coast Swing Dance conventions), take private dance lessons from the best instructors around the world, fix up our home, buy horses, fire ourselves from our jobs and retire while we’re relatively young. We also want to help our kids out financially. Shaklee is helping make our dreams come true by providing us with a way to make some significant extra income.
As a matter of fact, we make money with Shaklee while we’re awake and even while we’re sleeping. NOW THAT ROCKS! We can show you how you can do the same thing. To sum things up, we’re proud to be Shaklee distributors. We have no problem recommending Shaklee products and use them daily.
Our business continues to put money in our pockets month after month after month. We’re starting to see our dreams come true. Life is good and getting better! One of the great things about Shaklee is that I get to work with some amazing people…my friends! They’re people from all walks of life – some used work in Corporate America, others work from home. Still others work in the public sector and do their Shaklee business on the side.

My Trips
Like a lot of people, I decided to build a business with Shaklee because I love the products. It’s easy for me to share something I already love with others. Why not get paid to do it, right? And once I got started, I learned that if I put in the effort, I could earn INCREDIBLE trips on top of the cash bonuses I make.
Shaklee has taken us around the world! Places like Paris, Bali, and Tuscany just to name a few. They’ve also treated us to stays in some of the most fabulous beach-side resorts in Mexico, Hawaii and the Caribbean. And when we travel with Shaklee, it’s always five-star. Dream destinations with experiences usually reserved for the rich and famous.
